Felice Dissmeyer started working as the receptionist and office assistant with First Baptist in 2012.  She accepted Christ as her personal Savior when she was around twelve years old. Her faith in God and the power of the Holy Spirit has been a guiding force in her life.

Felice’s work experience has included the Y.W.C.A. in Birmingham, Alabama as a Program Secretary where she coordinated activities for adults and promoted the Y.W.C.A. programs. She also worked as personal secretary to the Assistant Executive Secretary of the California Baptist Convention in charge of the Mission Division. One of the blessings of this position was helping assign over 100 college students to places of mission service during the summer months and assisting in the planning, and carrying out of an orientation program at the Golden Gate Seminary in San Francisco for these student mission workers.  In Georgia, Felice worked at the Gwinnett Baptist Associational office and as a secretary for a pastor starting a new mission church in the Gwinnett area. She also worked for ten years at the Georgia Baptist State Convention office in the Evangelism and Missions Division.

In the various churches where Felice and her family have been members she has been a member of the choir, worked with children and youth in Sunday School, the Awana program, VBS and directed special drama productions.  In 1996, she and her husband moved to Lake Oconee where they joined First Baptist Church of Eatonton.

Felice’s interests and hobbies have included researching and writing books about her family history and performing in theater productions.  Her favorite role is being grandma to her granddaughter.
